Filibuster or filibust! Those Mixed up Senators from MA.

John Kerry and Ted Kennedy are back in the news again. Both of the left-wing boys from Massachusetts are calling to filibuster the vote to approve Judge Samuel Alito. Kerry stated that, "Judge Alito's confirmation would be an ideological coup on the Supreme Court." Ted Kennedy agrees with Kerry assumption by saying that, "Judge Alito does not share the values of equality and justice that makes this country strong."
It's obvious that the only reason that these two men don't support Judge Alito is because they are liberals. John Kerry is worried about his image and doesn't support Alito because he is probably going to run for president in 2008. Ted Kennedy has also been quite outspoken during the confirmation hearings, where Senator Arlen Spector told him to settle down. I think both Kerry and Kennedy should just be quiet and stop playing the partisan politics game like Sen. Robert Byrd, who talked about partisan politics by saying he is going to "toe the party line when it comes to Supreme Court justices." Alito also has a great background and would be perfect for the job. Alito attended Yale law school and wrote for the paper there. Samuel Alito also served for 15 years at the US Department of Justice. Alito also served as a judge on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals for 15 years. Alito does not have a political bias and rules based on existing laws and facts. Alito is more than qualified to be on the Supreme Court but the liberals do not support him because George Bush nominated him. The liberals make outrageous claims that can't be supported by facts. It is time to stop playing the "he isn't in my political party" card and start acting on gut feeling. Kerry and Kennedy only didn't support Alito because they would lose their liberal fan base.

"Peace Mom" and those "Meddling" Americans

Cindy Sheehan, fresh off her "Great" book turnout at the Crawford ranch, is now in Venezuela helping glorify the leftist president Hugo Chavez. Sheehan calls for the end of the Iraq war and for the U.S. to stop quote, "meddling," in foreign affairs. Sheehan, along with 10,000 others made the trek to Venezuela to protest the war and launch the World Social Forum.
It seems to me like Cindy Sheehan is such a diplomat nowadays. After all, she wanted to speak with President Bush (which never happened) and now she supports a leftist president in South America and is protesting the war in Iraq from there. The reason why she went to South America with her 10,000 liberal friends to protest the war is because she can't do it in America anymore. Americans are sick and tired of her and her liberal ideals. A grieving mother deserves her opinion on the war but she must realize that her son went over there because he wanted to. Many of the young men and women in Iraq volunteered to go over to Iraq to fight terrorism. Sheehan decision to go to Venezuela demonstrates that she is not just campaigning to end the war in Iraq but wants to have an influence on every foreign affair. Sheehan has gone to far in my opinion by supporting Chavez. Chavez allies himself with Castro and communist Cuba, where democracy and freedoms that we have don't even exists. Sheehan also called for America to stop "meddling" in foreign affairs. The U.S. has become the police of the world and it is too late to stop now. America is the last superpower in the world and so it is our obligation to be in foreign affairs. America had no need to be in Serbia in the 1990s but because of the genocide we stepped in and stopped a ruthless dictator. America is going to be "meddling" in foreign affairs and continue doing so until the end of time whether Cindy likes it or not. It is time for Sheehan to just get out of politics before she gets herself in trouble but it may be too late.

Offroading or Off His Rocker? Santiago's Vow

As I read the paper this morning, I read an article about Trenton Police commissioners Santiago's vow to stop illegal offroading. This action is in response to the death of woman by a 16 year riding a ATV. This response is correct in my opinion but shouldn't Santiago be worried about more important issues like the gang violence in Trenton? I realize that one death is one too many for offroading, but there have been 31 homicides in Trenton and 21 had gang affiliations. The gang problem is escalating and Santiago should put more police time and energy to stop the gangs before Trenton becomes the next L.A.. We have just started to experience the problem and can control it if we work quickly.
The drug crimes are also going up in Mercer County as well. One of the reasons why the woman was killed is because the motorist was high on cocaine and pot. This accident may have been avoided if the motorist was sober and could react but the drugs impaired him. The drug problem needs more attention than the offroading accidents. To step up patrolling for that is a waste of the taxpayers money in my opinion. If you catch a person on a ATV, arrest them then but when we have two larger problems, the police should stick to that.

John Kerry is complaining. What else is new?

John Kerry challenged the competence of the Bush Administration yesterday, using hurricane Katrina his gateway. Kerry stated that "Katrina stripped away the veneer of competence of this administration." Kerry also talked about the controversies over the NSA's wiretapping scandal, saying that the constitutional rights of Americans are beginning violated.
John Kerry in my personal opinion is still sore about his lost to President Bush in the 2004 elections and is complaining about his procedures anyway he can.
The Bush Administration is not to blame for the problems that have arisen during the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Catherine Blanco, governor of Louisiana is to blame for most of the ills of what happened during that tragedy. Blanco withheld school buses from saving hundreds of lives by evacuating people because they did not have bathrooms. Blanco also did not use trains which were leaving New Orleans to take people either which could have saved hundreds more. Blanco as you know, is not apart of the Bush Administration and therefore hurricane Katrina does not demonstrate the competence of the Bush Administration.
The wiretapping controversies is another example of the Liberals making a big fuss about nothing. The wiretapping were for known terrorists not the American citizen. These wiretappings were necessary to keep America safe and to prevent another 9-11. In an article published today, the former head of the NSA, Gen. Michael Hayden, described the wiretappings as being very limited comparing them to dropping a 500 pound bomb. The General also stated that "Had this program been in effect prior to 9/11, it is my professional judgment that we would have detected some of the al-Qaida operatives in the United States." The wiretappings are a good option to have in my personal opinion and this is another example of the liberals, especially John Kerry, making a big deal out of nothing. These recent complaints are also demonstrating the downfall of the liberal party. The have become so desperate that they try anything to make conservatives look bad. My friends, we must be smarter than that, we must stay the path and continue watching icons like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, so we are prepared to defend our ideals. God Bless! RP

And You thought that Star Jones was bad!

Another entertainer is in the news this weekend. For something about their career? You might think that considering that this person is Singer Harry Belafonte, who yesterday said that the Bush Administration department of Homeland Security is comparable to the Nazi Gestapo of World War II. Belafonte also called Bush a "terrorist" in a earlier comment. This is just another example of entertainers trying to be a politician. To say that Homeland Security is like the Gestapo, who followed Adolph Hitler's racism towards the Jews of Europe, is absolutely wrong. The Gestapo were men who killed people that were not part of Hitler's master race. I honestly do not see the Department of Homeland Security circling out Jewish or disabled people on the street and killing them cause they are not part of America's Master Race. Last time I checked, America was still a melting pot of cultures whether you are African American, Hispanic or Arab. If you take a walk on the street and ask a common person to say what comes to their mind when you say Department of Homeland Security is (granted they know whets going on), they will say that they are keeping America safe and not persecuting people.
The Patriot Act, which is what is being used to check terrorists phone records, web surfing and bank records is the main reason behind Belafonte's tirade. Contrary to Liberal belief, the government is not spending all of these resources and taxpayers money on little grannies. The Patriot Act is catching terrorists and making America Safer than 9-11 so I will say to Belafonte what I said to Star Jones, STAY AWAY FROM POLITICS!

Falling Star: How Star Jones thinks she knows politics

Star Jones said recently on ABC's "The View" that the war on terror is nothing but a battle of ego's stating that Bush should "put it back in his pants and zip up the zipper." Jones also wants Bush to talk to Bin Laden for peace.
This recent rant by Star Jones is just another example of TV stars trying to be diplomatic. Many of these stars feel that they are inclined to stick to their plastic noses in foreign affairs when all they should be doing is making movies. I wish that actors could just let the politicians handle these affairs instead of making themselves look bad. Star Jones is now on the list of making one of these stupid comments. To say that the war on terror is nothing but a battle of egos is preposterous. Star Jones must have lost her intellect when she lost all of that weight. Osama Bin Laden is a ruthless killer who murder thousands of lives on September 11 and Star Jones wants to have a truce. Osama Bin Laden in my opinion doesn't even deserve to live in those caves where he is hiding at right now. To Say that George Bush's ego is the cause of the war on terror is an outright lie. George Bush saw that our nation got attacked and we are now in the process of hunting the terrorist down wherever they are. Star Jones should just talk about issues that she knows best and not about the war on terror. I am glad that she is not calling the shots or we would have lost this war on terror.

France is pulling a Kerry

When Iran resumed its nuclear weapons program, many people became frightened of a full scale nuclear war. French President Jacques Chirac however, said in a speech yesterday that he would be willing to use nuclear weapons against Iran. Chirac also went as far as to say that any state that supported terrorists would not be tolerated. Does anybody see something wrong here? I mean when another terrorist state much like Iran used gas to kill innocent people, produced other weapons of mass destruction and made threats of attack, where was France then? As you know, I am talking about the Iraq war that the French vehemetly opposed even though they had intelligence that Saddam was producing weapons of mass destruction. President Chirac stated that "Iraq today does not represent an immediate threat that justifies an immediate war." Chirac did not want to invade Iraq because it did not seem at the right time but when Iran states that they are making nukes, Chirac immediately wants to attack. The definition of terrorism is violent and intimidating gang activity, which is what Iraq was doing weapons of mass destruction or not. Chirac has completely flip flopped his stance on this issue of terrorism, much like John Kerry of the 2004 elections. If Chirac was not going to tolerate Iran and there terrorism, why would he tolerate Iraq?
